MHS Class of "55"
It has been a quiet Spring and now we are
finally starting our Summer. Thanks to no rain for the past few days. This Pacific Northwest weather has been a challenge this year and we are all ready for some warmer months.
Very few contacts have been coming in this year. We are always open for any news of class members. If you have any updates or news, please send it in to MHS Class of "55" charbett@comcast.net We will be sure to post your comments, photos, news or class updates.
Hopefully, everyone is in good health, able to see new places, and keeping in touch with family. If you have been traveling, let us know where you have been, and do send photos. For some class members, this class blog is the main channel in staying in touch, so send in the news.
This will be a quiet summer for any class events. We are looking forward to the summer of 2012 when we will have an informal get-together, meeting at a restaurant for lunch and catching up on old friendships. Look for news of this event in the spring of 2012.
Best wishes to all Class members. SEND IN YOUR NEWS ITEMS AND PHOTOS

Some have asked...
We have had several questions asking how to view older Posts...OK, here are two options: you can click on any date of the posts listed to the right of the Blog directly under the Bulldog photo and information. Or, you can scroll down the posts to the very bottom where "Older Posts" is listed. Click on that, and several Older posts will be added to your viewing window. Keep clicking on "Older Posts" until you have viewed all desired...then click back to the current window at the top.
Thanks for asking...and do enjoy you time catching up on the Class of 55 happenings!

Class up-dated...
A few class updates have come in...so this is the latest:
Judy Trineer Andrews has written that she has discontinued her land-line phone and is now only using her cell. If any of you would like to contact Judy, please send in a request for her cell phone number. We will pass on her info only by request. Judy also says that she is recovering day-by-day from her major back surgery back in August. We are glad to hear from Judy with her phone up-date and also to hear she is improving from her surgery.
Jean Marie Taylor Studer has written that she and husband Ted have sold their home in Santa Maria California and are down-sizing into a one-level home nearby. She said that they are overwhelmed with all the "STUFF" they have accumulated over the years! We will have Jean's up to date address and other up to date info when they get settled into their "new-digs". Best wishes to Jean and Ted on their downsizing! If you want to contact Jean, please send in a request for her updated address and phone numbers. We will pass them on only by request as they are received.

Several have asked this Question...
The class of 55 has received several questions regarding any up-coming Class get-together. In response, we will re-post a previous answer that was listed shortly after the 55th celebration last August.
QUESTION: When will the next Class of 55 get-together be held?
ANSWER: During the 55th two-day event in August, the Class committee mingled and asked class members what they thought should be the next class event. Following the reunion, the comments were compiled and this was the conclusion of the majority.
"The Class of 55 should hold an informal event on a two year basis. There should be no formal reunion with a banquet or program. The informal get-together should be held in Montesano, at noon time with Lunch at a restaurant with class members ordering individually from the menu. This should be a time of visiting, catching up on any class news, eating, and having a relaxed afternoon together."
The majority opinion was that with our ages advancing, we did not need a formal two-day reunion. Just getting together for lunch and seeing everyone again was enough. Having a light and informal lunch at a restaurant would be satisfactory.
With this in mind, the next class get-together will be held in August of 2012. Notifications will be sent out in enough time for all class members to make advanced plans to attend.
Thanks to all of you who sent in this Question...
Looking forward to seeing you all in 2012!
(If you have any comments, please post them in the Comment section at the bottom of this post)
