Evelyn Vincent Dailey has offered to plan an Informal Class Get-together in August. This event will be strictly informal and will be held in Monte sometime in August. She is planning a restaurant with a buffet so that those attending may choose a menu of their choice.
Start thinking about a day in August that you think would work for all those in the area to get together and visit, eat and visit...Let Evelyn know if you have any suggestions for the get-together.

I would agree that an informal get together would be a great idea. I would prefer it on a week day rather than the weekend. Just a relaxing time, no program or anything! Let's just get together and visit (and eat!). I'm looking forward to it. Thanks Evelyn, for getting this thing organized!
ReplyDeleteAt our age, it would be a good thing to get together once and awhile. Just look at the classmates we have lost this year alone! I don't think we should go over-board, but a few times a year might work. The 55th coming up next year will take care of a more formal reunion, but in-between, we need to have something for those who are close at hand and can get together. Thank you Evelyn, your idea is great and offering to help make it work is appreciated. Let us know when this will take place. We will be there!
