Both the local Aberdeen Daily World and the Montesano Vidette list a former Coach/teacher of Montesano High School during our High School days.Robert Ryan
Robert Ryan of Wanah in Honolulu, Hawaii, died on Wednesday, March 11,. 2009, while on vacation with his wife, Joan. He was 84.
He had coached football at Montesano in the 50's. In 1979 he joined the National Football League's Buffalo Bills franchise as a scout.
A memorial service took place Saturday, March 21, at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor.
Arrangement were by Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor.
