  2. I can't remember what I wrote the 1st time, except a big thank you, Charlie and Betty, for a wonderful picnic at your home. The "committee" did a great job for Saturday night, too. It is so much fun recalling our Monte school days. I heard from Carole Hockett. She is okay, just doesn't like to travel by herself so far anymore. Know the feeling. Thanks again. Love you all, Rosella

  5. Just putting in my 2 cents worth...for the next class get-together, why not just have a picnic. It seemed to me that the picnic was more relaxed and that there was more visiting, laughing and enjoying the afternoon. My vote is to skip a reunion banquet and stick to an informal time together. Either at a picnic, or just getting together someplace for lunch! At our age, we don't need a reunion...just a time of meeting and having a great time...Thanks!

  6. Thanks for your comment! We are taking all suggestions under consideration and will come up with an event in the future, perhaps on a 2 year basis rather than a 5 year time frame. We have also received suggestions of meeting once a year for lunch so these too are on the planning table. We appreciate all your comments, so keep them coming! We will announce a date and time sometime in the early spring...keep in touch!

  7. I love the idea of a picnic, too. What a great time we had this year at Charlie and Betty's. And 5 years ago at Friends' Landing. Any time we can get together is always a good time; picnic, dinner or lunch.
